I have chronic gas bloating since last 10_ 11 yrs. Doctors prescribe me so many antacid like esogess 40. Ganaton 50 nexpro rd 40 but without medicine the problem returns. I also have to take anti depression medicine like rexipra plus since 1 yr. But no fruitful result noticed .med file is full of my usg lft. Endoscopy and routine blood test like tsh occultblood of stool. Almost normal report. Previous history of my piles is now under control. Gastroentro can not cure my gas. Pl advise.

Excessive gas, blotting of gas in abdomen & constipation sometimes. Trying for homeopathy also. Like okubaka q, anacardium 30 & club moss 30. I have stress & tensions in my life. If this is biopsy proven ulcerative colitis l, you need to consult a gastroenterologist for further treatment. Treatment consist of a few drugs which are added carefully and requires observation. Nexpro and ganaton are not targeted to treat ulcerative colitis.

Hello Dr. on feb my tsh s 14.67.first time my Dr. suggested 75 mcg. After I took suddenly got heart beat high n pain. Then I stopped my medicine for three days. Took my test. My tsh came normal. So my Dr. suggested me to stop tablet for one month. Last month I recheck my thyroid. It's tsh -10. 5. My gastro Dr. suggested thyronorm 25 mcg. If I take thyroid tablet I getting chest pain. If I stop i'm ok. I have symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings, heavy bleeding, dyspepsia. Heart rate high. Please suggest me to overcome from this. Main I having chest pain. My echo everything normal. Currently taking sompraz 40 n ganaton total n. Zincovit tablet. How to overcome this pblm.

when you will start initially thyroid medication it will give you a kick. sometimes increase in your heart rate that is actually a good sign. so continue taking it.

Why I am having continuous mouth and throat ulcers, that too in regular intervals. They generally remain for 5 to 6 days during which I feel like hell in my mouth. No medicine helps to get rid of this problem. Even though I take very healthy diet with balanced nutritions at proper time and avoid junk food, I could not win over this problem. I am 24 years old and facing this problem from last 15 years or more. From last 4 to 6 years I feel severe gas and acidity and chest burn (not heart because it occurs in the right middle side of my chest, burning sensation, more on empty stomach, after meal, on sitting straight. I have taken care of food habits and only take the foods which is anti acidic, still these problems have become unavoidable. I am facing a lot more problems ehuch I can't explain here which are less or more linked to this. I have already consulted a lot of doctors and have performed endoscopy twice. But all are invain. They only provide pentoprazole and itopride medicines, some give antibiotics as my stool is mucotic and not clear in the morning. But the root cause of my problem couldn't be sorted out. Please help sir.

My wife is suffering from acute gastric and is under treatment with Gastro doctor, and taking nexpro 40, Ganaton 50 mg, Sibofix 550 & Biogut, but not feeling good, moreover she is a thyroid patient and taking Eltroxin 75. On 15/12/15 thyroid TSH test was done and result is 2.26, please advise me whether she will continue the thyroid dose 75 or less. Whenever she has food she feels irritation in the stomach and feels a burning sensation and keeps on burping. She feels like as if she will throw up and feels a very disturbing sensation like her stomach is full and heavy. She doesn't feel like eating and has no specific appetite. Her bowels are also fine. Due to the irritation she lost her sleep, & feels insecure and afraid whether she will get relief or not. Now we propose to visit Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad for her stomach problem. Please advise me what to do or prescribe some medicines for gaining appetite and proper sleep. Presently I am taking cyclotin (fluoxetine) 10 mg in morning and nano leo tablets both at morning and night after meals. But I feel bit gassy symptoms after taking them. Can I take cyclotin 10 mg in morning and nano leo after lunch and second dosage of nano leo after dinner.

You can continue dosage as per routine but just add any ppi medications along with them. Take tablet ganaton total once daily in morning (empty stomach. It will subside the acidity symptoms.

I work in software company as Admin and IT head. My work involves sitting in front of computer for at least 4-5 hrs everyday. I walk 30 minutes everyday. I drink at least 3 litres water everyday. From last 2 years I started feel fatigue and dizzy everyday. I lost nearly 10 kgs during suffering from severe acid reflux. I did endoscopy and colonoscopy after a Gastroenterologist advice. I took Ganaton tablets for 3 months. Now I don't have acid reflux but dizziness is there. Sometimes I feel burning sensation inside my palms and inside foot. Some times I feel like prickling in left leg calve area. My health checkup shows. If I touch very cold water, nerves in my palm bulge twice size and protruding. I have severe constipation and more gas formation. Fasting sugar: 90 Post sugar: 102 BP: 120/70 Total Cholesterol: 170 Vitamin B12: 26 I suspect it is because of Vitamin B12 deficiency. Can you please suggest me any B12 supplement and other food habits to follow to rectify the problem.

My father's age is 65 and weighs 75 kg. He is a gastric patient & have been taking zinetac300 for past couple of patients. Also he is prone to allergies from certain medicines. For blood pressure, he is taking lodoz 2.5 too. But two weeks ago, he changed the medicine from zinetac 300 to pantocid l since he was having high gastric issues. But since last saturday, at late night from 2 am till 4 am, he is having right side chest pain in which the gastric issues from stomach is coming upwards that is causing him chest pain. We have consulted gastroenterologist and under his prescriptions, my father is having pantocid l once daily before breakfast and ganaton 50 mg before breakfast, lunch,dinner& mucaine gel after breakfast, lunch,dinner from this tuesday. But again today midnight, the same upward chest pain. Though he is not having any digestion issues but this chest pain is not getting cured. Kindly guide me doctor what medicines & options I should opt for now to get this upward chest pain of my father being cured.

Thank you for messaging. He needs an endoscopy. Your gastrenterologist will be able to carry it out. If he is taking twice daily pantoprazole and thrice daily ganaton and add on mucaine he should be evaluated for reflux esophagitis.
