On night of 7-April-2016, I had taken Combiflam tablet along with dinner as I was having sever headache. After around 1 hour, I started having severe pain and burning sensation in chest area. Also, I started feeling difficulty in breathing. I immediately rushed to emergency room at a leading hospital. They did ECG and Troponin I tests (both were normal according to duty doctor) and then gave me Pantoprazole injection. Next day, I started feeling discomfort again after taking breakfast, so I went to emergency room of another major hospital. They did ECG, Troponin I, and 2D Echo, and then they also gave me Pantoprazole injection and sent me home. After that, I consulted a GP who advised me TMT and Endoscopy. Both were normal and he prescribed me Ganaton Total capsules. Since the problem didn't completely go away, I consulted another GP who told me it is Non-ulcer Dyspepsia triggered by Ibuprofen and advised me Cintodac capsules, Anxit Tablet. I started taking these medicines as per his advice and felt great relief. However, yesterday, I consumed some fried items and also had snacks containing gram flour. I again started feeling heaviness in chest, difficulty breathing and extreme nervousness. Again I went to emergency room and after ECG and Pantoprazole, they sent me home. I had never experienced this kind of discomfort earlier in my life. Though the doctors are telling its non-ulcer dyspepsia and that's causing all symptoms, I would like to know if any additional tests and required to rule out other types of problems (my TMT and Endoscopy reports were normal earlier, showing no problems with heart or stomach ulcers etc.) I usually suffer from lot of gas problems that don't result in burping and cause headaches. But this time, its creating lot of pain in chest area. I am 41 years old, Male.

My acidity problem started around jan 2013. Initially, I would feel too full or have slight burning sensation in the stomach after a heavy/spicy meal, which would further lead to a feeling of anxiety in the chest in the middle of the night. Hot/luke warm water and a quick bite of banana brought instant relief. A few months later, this became a more frequent phenomenon (twice a week) to feel heavy and experience burning sensation. In sep 2013, after a visit to a general physician, I was prescribed pantascot 50mg in case of severe burning. I took this medicine only in worst case scenarios. There was slight improvement. Apr 2014, after experiencing the symptoms for over a month - a visit to the general physician, I was prescribed digene syrup (between meals) and pantascot 50mg (empty stomach) for 30 days. This course brought significant changes and I felt quite comfortable for a good long time. Sep 2014, the burning sensation & chest anxiety recouped once again. Another visit to general physician, I was asked to repeat the same course of digene and pantascot. Additionally, a full body checkup was performed (blood profile, thyroid, sugar etc.). All reports were normal while there was asymptomatic diagnosis of thyroid. Doctor advised a retest of thyroid in 3-6 months as the test results weren't alarming. Another thyroid test in mar 2015 revealed nothing significant. The burning sensation slowly started increasing in apr 2015. Whether there was too much gap between meals or heavy meals, in both instances chest anxiety was experienced with a feeling of panting/lack of air (experiencing tightness of clothes). Since apr 2015, pantascot became a regular dose to lead a peaceful day. Due to increasingly frequent chest anxiety and no significant results of pantascot, endoscopy was performed in aug 2015. Test report: duodenum shows diffuse erythema endoscopic impression- duodenitis - acidic peptic disease, no ulcer. Medicines prescribed: before meals - omeprazole 20 mg (45 days) twice a day after meals - tinidazol 500 mg + ulcer od 500 mg (14days) but after the medicines were over I am back to square one. I do understand that homeopathy has the best solution for this and hence request you to please revert.

Hi. I am 22 years old. Having problem of chest and upper back pain for over 5 years. In the pursuit of the solution to my problem I have consulted with dozens of doctors. Almost all of them have said that its not a big deal do not you worry and just prescribe some omeprazole tablets. Recently one said its a normal condition known GERD. But how could be this a normal thing that has impaired my life because its disturbing me almost every second day. My problem actually is that: there is pain started in my chest. I do not know  where, is it stomach or heart or liver I do not really know but there is a pain in the middle of me chest and then it spread up to my throat and the upper back. This is a scene of almost every other day with only some gaps of may be a week.  it often happens at night and some time i am the morning. But the pain is too severe that I can not sit properly nor I can lay straight in bed. Along with the chest and throat pain  my upper back pain is so severe that Even I can't have a seat support that hurts with an ugly pain when my back touches the chair support or my bed. Some times the pain goes after an hour or two, some times it lasts for 5 to 6 hours totally disturbing my routine life. Medication: I have used omeprazole 40 mg most of the time as most of the doctors prescribed this. But now for a month I am on medication prescribed by a doctor for GERD.  That is. 1.Zantec 150 mg once a day before going to bed. 2. Itopride Hydrochloride 50 mg Current situation The doctor said you have to do some exercise daily but am already an active boy, I do moderate exercise and 10 thousands steps of walking each day. Before starting this one month regime for GERD the scene was that I was encountering the same painful  situation everyday mostly in the morning.  Its been 2nd week of Starting these medication and there was no pain except a mild pain for 2 to 3 times for half of an hour probably.  But the problem is that its again becoming the daily torture for me. Its now 3rd day that have the pains in the morning with the same intensity and interval of 2 to 5 hours. I am using the medications and extremely conscious with my diet and avoid all sorts of things that is not good for stomach specifically in the problem of so called GERD. Mu question What is it? What the hell is going wrong with me ?  Can I ever get rid of this so called normal conditions by the doctors? Because these so called normal conditions have destroyed my life. What should I do?
