There is no point in masking the pain we have to find the root cause and deal it than only the problem will get solved. You could have a radiculopaty or neuropathy you have to answer several questions before i come to a diagnosis gabapentin will have a masking effect on the nervous system it may make you drowsy. Consult privately to have detailed discussion and solution

Its highly unlikely that a psychiatrist will start anyone with anxiety disorder on lamotrigine and gabapentin. There are other better and safe medicines available in the market. Anyway, for now you should consult a psychiatrist for reassessment and to decide whether these meds can be tapered off and stopped.

General Physician•Visakhapatnam
Your physician has prescribed 100 mg to see if you could tolerate the medication well. Gabapentin for neuropathic pain is usually started at a low dosage initially to make sure the patient tolerates it without any side effects like drowsiness, dizziness etc. Then the dose would be gradually increased to reach adequate pain management.
Please consult your physician for advice regarding the increase in dosage.

Dear
consult your physician regarding continuation of gabapentin. If you're feeling better with tablets then start with back stretching exercises and strengthening exercises. Start walking daily for 20 min. Change your lifestyle like avoid sitting for long time, avoid bending forward lifting heavy weights. Keep check on your body weight.
Take care.
