Gaba supplements are not primary treatment for anxiety and not well studied. Gabapentin is totally a different drug. For anxiety serotonin is more implicated than gaba, so do not self medicate, but consult a psychiatrist, get your anxiety symptoms properly evaluated and then take appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do yoga meditation exercises, spend time in nature or gardening, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing...more

The most effective solution for dealing with anxiety for me personally was waking up early. I am not a morning person but once I tried this, I was surprised how good this made me feel. It helped me find peace and calm myself down. Having so much time in my hand I could do small things that made me happy and I felt a sense of accomplishment just by waking up early.
