To reduce the uric acid levels in blood, you may need to limit intake of alcohol, sugary foods and reduce purine rich foods like meat, poultry, seafood and pulses. Vegetables such as cauliflower, asparagus, spinach, peas and mushroom also contain a lot of purines

Advice:
1. Avoid pulses which are supposed to increase nitrogen based bi-products inside the body
2. Febuxostat (brand and dosage matters a lot)
if you find my advice helpful and you need further interpretations then you are welcome to consult me privately.
Till then take care and all the best.

A high uric acid level is considered a risk factor for developing diabetes. In addition, you have blood sugar levels in the pre-diabetic range. Continue glyciphage (metformin). You might need to add febuxostat. Get your diabetologist's advice. By the way, how is your kidney function?
