I never had a acne problem but recently I started getting some on my face so I consulted a dermatologist. The grade is mild. He gave me azithromycin and adapalene gel and clindamycin phosphate cream. Today 2 week got over after using this prescription but more acne is breaking out. What should I do now? Is it the part of treatment or any side effects?

grading is done in a different way...Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Active acne needs a little different treatment approach than acne marks treatment. Along with topical treatment you can add some berries / salad in your diet. Drink plenty of water. Avoid oily, spicy food.
Add antioxidant supplements for better detox. You can consult online for complete treatment.

From few months I am getting pimples which are very painful then I am using "clinbid-a topical gel" (adapalene and clindamycin) for 2 weeks then my face is getting black and pimple's dark spots. Hey I was suffering from severe cystic acne. I was prescribed clindamycin with adapalene and doxycycline. My acne stopped but now I have severe hyperpigmentation. I was thinking of including hydroquinone + mometasone + tretinoin cream in my skin care regime. I want to know can I use adapalene and clindamycin combination in the morning and hydroquinone with tretinoin at night or if this regime which I am planning is not correct do suggest one for clearing those pigmented scars (my whole face is covered with them) and to control acne too. I follow a proper skin care regime and always apply sunscreen. Would I purge on hydroquinone and tretinoin combination as I have suffered the adapalene purge already?

if you would have posted your pics, I would have suggested you better. Anyways do not worry ,there are multiple options right know to tackle spots, scars and uneven skin tone. Usually, cystic acne leaves bad scarring on face. Usually, fraxel c02 lasers, mnrf, peels, subscission will reduce acne scars better rather than plain creams. Health Query

I have marks on my face. They are not by birth but they are now visible on my face on left chick. These marks are small black round spots. They are not on any other part of my face or any other body part. They are only on face. I also want tell you that in my childhood I once got burnt from steam press on that part of my face. But I recovered from those burnt mark as it waa very less. I consulted doctor in my nearest govt hospital. She said this is "lessen" and also she said if it is a burnt mark you will get recovered. She suggested some creams like - 1. Kojic acid cream 2% 2. Adapalene gel 0.1% w/w 3. Tacrolimus cream 0.1% w/w she suggested that if it is a "lessen" then you must go for laser treatment. Please let me know about the treatment.

I have 3m avagard hand rub 500 ml. Each ml contains isopropanol i.p. 45%w/w and 30% w/w, 1-propanol i.p. Ethyl-hexadecyl-dimethyl-ammonium-ethylsulphate 0.2%w/w, with moisturizer and emollient. Is this hand rub safe to use in coronavirus (covid-19)? Because it doesn't have 70% alcohol (isopropyl or ethyl alcohol). Can I use it? Please reply.

I suggest that it is better to wash hand for 20 sec with soap and water then use sanitisers. If there is no provision of soap and water then think of sanitiser. Cdc recommends use of 65-90% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. Take care.
