Ms. lybrate-user, no need to worry. Taking these tablets together will do no harm. Preferably you should take folic acid in the morning and ferrous sulphate 30-45 minutes after lunch. You can take lemon juice with ferrous sulphate. No tea, coffee and milk atleast before or after 2 hours after ferrous sulphate.

Folic acid is a vitamin and is recommended to all women who are pregnant or are planning pregnancy in next few months. Folic acid is not a fertility pill and has no connection with sexual inter course. You can take it once a day regardless of the time of the day or food or sexual intercourse.

Folic acid is to be continued for all women planning pregnancy.
Those who have regular 28 days cycle get ovulation around 14th day counting from the first day of the period (bleeding) means sexual intercourse around 11 to 16th day helps for pregnancy. Those who get cycles differently calculations have to be made differently as ovulation occurs 14 days prior to the next period.
