We are planning to have kid. One month ago, my gynecologist prescribed me folvite tab for folic acid and uriliser syrup. I haven't started taking them yet. Are they * folvite and uriliser * safe to take during pregnancy? If not, How long should I take them before getting pregnant? Thanks.

You can take folic acid for 3 month, utiliser I don't know why she has given. It is for burning urination.

It should not be taken for so long.
And folic acid and iron tablet are both different.
Better take doctor's advise first.

I am 8 week pregnant my doctor suggested me to take naveen jr and gooday tablets but as I knw folic acid tablets r very important at this stage may be she forgot to prescribe so can I take folvite 5 mg tablet?

High does folic acid of 5 mg is prescribed only in selected cases. Otherwise in completely normal pregnancy with normal obstetric history, 500 microgram of folic acid is enough and that also is mainly required in first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Hello,
Folic acid should be taken when you plan pregnancy again & should be continued till 12 weeks of pregnancy, it prevents neural tube defect.

My doctor had prescribed my wife to use folvite dha for folic and asked to continue till she gets pregnant. Is it good to have before getting pregnant? Can men also have? Its been one month 6 days she has used. With this can she become pregnant.

Doctor I wil take folvite as you suggested. Can you please give me details as why I sweat a lot and how can folvite help control me. Also I had pregnancy thyroid and few months back I had done test and there was no thyroid. Should I do tsh test again? or I can start folvite?

If you r not on drugs for hypothyroidism than test tsh levels and revert back with reports and sweating is due to hyperstimulation of para sympathetic nervous system and folic acid might help your axons of the nerves to function normally.
