You should have to take psychotherapy OCD. CBT is more effective in OCD. OCD is a anxiety induce symptoms and It's a cognitive dysfunction. It's occurre due to patient's false belief and repetitive thoughts. CBT is replace patient's cognitive patterns.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. OCD is not a mental disease but is a mental disorder. Mental disorders are always treated with psychotherapy, counseling and life style changes. Medicines are given only when required extremely. You are just 20 and the medicines are apt. I suggest online psychotherapy. Take care.

Generally effects of the drugs usually comes in 3-4 weeks but this is lowest dose for OCD. So you have to Consult any Psychiatrist directly for proper optimization of the doses and further follow up.

Apart from this read spiritual books specially geetha one chapter every day. Spend time with good friends. And pleasant locations and small children. Worship god. All these will definitely help you.
