If there is concomitant allergic rhinitis then steroid nasal spray needs to be added.

- use normal saline nasal drops, 2 drops 2-3 times a day regularly
- have more of warm fluids water, tea, coffee, milk, soup, avoid all cold drinks including aerated drinks

Hi, mostly, you would not require antibiotics here to cure your issue of dried nasal mucous. Steam inhalation, 2 to 3 times daily, should help.
