Secondly I would highly suggest you to go for cbt and erp therapies with a good psychotherapist. Cognitive behaviour therapy works wonders in case of anxiety and exposure response prevention therapy works very effectively in ocd.

I am not aware about current psychotic symptoms of your brother. If still he has delusion or hallucoinations, you may ask for a review by his psychiatrist who may consider increasing the dose of risperidone.

There are different disorders presenting with similar complaints. You may be suffering from Generalised Anxiety Disorder and your doctor would have diagnosed it. So, she/he treating with petril beta. Your friend would have thought that you are suffering from Mixed Anxiety Depressive Disorder and would have advised fludac in addition.
