Fluoxetine and naltrexone have minimal interactions as their way they act on body is different. So it is safe to take them together.

Hi, first of all I would suggest you that for medication part you should talk to your treating doctor so that he can make changes in doses or medicines. Secondly I would highly suggest you to go for cbt and erp therapies with a good psychotherapist. Cognitive behaviour therapy works wonders in case of anxiety and exposure response prevention therapy works very effectively in ocd.
For further help you may contact me here on Lybrate.

Fluoxetine very commonly causes erection problems, discuss with your psychiatrist, there are many alternatives which are effective for anxiety but have lesser sexual side effects. Surprised to hear your doctor has asked you to continue the same despite sexual side effect. All the best.

1. You should maintain high grade of personal hygiene.
2. Do change your underclothes at least 2 times a day
3. Wear cotton under garments
4. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of fluids.
5. Keep the area dry
Homeopathy is a very effective for this problem n has very encouraging results. And homeopathic medicines are safe and do not have any side effects at all.

Hi Lybrate user, fluoxetine (or other drugs of the same class) have a propensity to cause sexual side effects upto the tune of about 70%. However these often go unnoticed or unreported. But these are transiewnt and often go when the meds are stopped.

Dear, prescribed drugs are not antipsychotics, so you need to correct your knowledge regarding drugs and alcohol both.
Also, dear kuma have some faith in your doctor regarding the treatment.
Amitriptyline is a good drug.
Or you can take a second opinion frm other psychiatrist.
Take care.
