you are honestly trying your best to cope up with the problem. You are doing almost everything correctly. try to add isopgul husk and lactitol based stool bulk formulas daily at bedtime. train yourself to sit in the toilet sit early in the morning every day at the same time for at least 21 days to make it a habit.hopefully it will regularise your bowel movements.

Need to cure it first. Need to relax the spincter and relieve constipation. Try stool softners like lactitol fibres and sit in tub of luke warm water for 20mins twice a day. It will take over a month to heal fully. But you shud see changes within 2 weeks. More serious fissures will need more medications. Please get a private consultation. To prevent fissures in future prevent having constipation. Include high amt of dietary fibres in your diet. Lead a stressfree lifestyle.

Hello lybrate-user, the main purpose of laxatives for treatment for anal fissure is to keep your stool soft and easy to pass. If you are already taking plenty of fibres, then osmotic laxatives like duphalac will helpful. If you are containing less fibre in diet then lactifibre will be more preferable. But remember, treatment of anal fissure depends upon two factors, avaidance of constipation by any means, and to avoid straining. Thank u.
