Asked for female, 29 years old from Trivandrum

I conceived monochorionic diamniotic twins after 2 cycles of clomifene citrate. I had covid 19 infection at 5w but got cardiac activity at 6w5d scan. But my 9w5d scan showed absent cardiac activity for both and one with 7w5d growth&other had 8w1d growth. Can someone tell me how did this happen. What is the cause of abortion? I had medical abortion, after how many weeks I can start treatment again? Will it be difficult for me to conceive again.

Last month I tried my first iui but it was failed.in that cycle I used letrozole along with hmg injections finally 2eggs released. Now I am planning for 2nd iui, in this cycle im using clomifene citrate along with myfsh 75iu injections. Will I expect good result with these medicines when compared to last cycle? Will success rate improve in 2nd iui? Please give your valuable suggestion doctor.

Weight reduction is essential. If your tubal patency has not been assessed, get an hsg done at least next month if you do not conceive. Success rate for iui is around 15%

I am suffering from pcod and trying to conceive with medication of clomifene citrate 100 mg. Follicles are growing more than one in size 18 mm to 36 mm.in those one is ruptured in each cycle. But not convinced since 6 months. Now in scanning 72 mm simple cyst is in overy. Kindly advise me what to do .whether it goes itself or tondo surgery .what is the treatment.

Yes, You must try 4 iui as overall iui success rate is 20% and every time you do iui, be positive think positive, that will give result, best of luck. If your tubes are normal then it will work mam.

Hello sir/ma'am my last lmp was march 2nd and upt test is negative I was diagnosed with pcos past 2 years I am advised to take regestrone tablet for withdrawal bleeding, and then clomifene citrate 50 mg from 3rd day to help in ovulation as we are ttc from past 4 months but no luck so I was advised with this medication which will help in conceiving I would like to know what is the success rate of this medication kindly guide me.

Please follow your doctor. It has a chance of pregnancy provided you respond to it. Unless we do one follicular study following medication in a cycle, we cannot say if you would respond to that.

From history part I can say that you have fertility issues.
1. Weight reduction if you r obese or overweight.
2 diet changes with help of good dietitian.
3. Try with letrozole not with cc.
4. Get done husband semen analysis.
If on follicular study if you ovulate then you can plan times intercourse or iui cycle.
