The materna depot injection you mentioned likely contains a hormone called leuprolide acetate, which is a type of gnrh agonist. Gnrh agonists are often used in assisted reproductive technology (art) cycles like ivf to help regulate and control the timing of ovulation and to suppress the body's natural hormone production.
The purpose of using a gnrh agonist like materna depot in an ivf cycle could be to achieve the following:
ovarian suppression: gnrh agonists temporarily suppress the bod...more

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query.
The TSH level mentioned is high, if you are already on treatment with Levothyroxine. It should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L to be free from all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Further if you are thinking of one more conception then TSH should be maintained < 2.5 mU/L. Plus during gestational period it has to be < 2.5 mU/L. As regards taking Fertyl along with thyroxine, it is fine. Only precaution is to take Thyroxine tablets on empty stomach early i...more

From history part I can say that you have fertility issues.
1. Weight reduction if you r obese or overweight.
2 diet changes with help of good dietitian.
3. Try with letrozole not with cc.

Because the Medicine is not a permanent solution... And it has many side effects...
Better take Homoeopathic treatment to cure it... And get regular periods naturally..

Dear Lybrate user,
The drug given is used for induction of ovulation. Has the follicular study been done earlier and if so was there any evidence of ovulation? If the Fertomid is given, your Doctor must have advised you for follicular study monitoring. The best time for intercourse would be between 12th to 16th day of the period specially if follicle is growing as predicted. It is difficult to estimate success percentage since there are other factors as well as which influence the success.

Occassionaly cycle may change. I am sure with treatment of fertomid you must be under supervision of gynecologist or infertility specialist. Consult same doctor.

It all depends on your parameters. If you have PCOS, letrozole is better. in other cases, clomiphene is better. Each has it's benefits and risks.
