Fertomid causes egg formation for ovulation. So, it causes hormonal irregularities too. Bleeding can b explained by that.

Hello-
Modern fertility meds are not safe and may cause adverse effects on the progeny, the reason being, its opposite to nature. Better to consult a ayurveda doctor for a safe treatment option with assured results.

Because the Medicine is not a permanent solution... And it has many side effects...
Better take Homoeopathic treatment to cure it... And get regular periods naturally..

Dear Lybrate user,
The drug given is used for induction of ovulation. Has the follicular study been done earlier and if so was there any evidence of ovulation? If the Fertomid is given, your Doctor must have advised you for follicular study monitoring. The best time for intercourse would be between 12th to 16th day of the period specially if follicle is growing as predicted. It is difficult to estimate success percentage since there are other factors as well as which influence the success.

Occassionaly cycle may change. I am sure with treatment of fertomid you must be under supervision of gynecologist or infertility specialist. Consult same doctor.
