Hi, It would have been beneficial if you had told us since how long you are having this pain. I am assuming your stools are normal and regular.
There are a few causes of right lower abdominal pain:
1) Chronic appendicitis / Grumbling appendicitis
2) pain due to hernia
3) muscle strain
4) Abscess in the lower abdomen or upper thigh area.

Hello Sir,
Gout is curable, you can take medication prescribed by your doctor for this. This may included medications like pain killers/ steroids/ colchicine for acute attack and control of uric acid levels in blood by tablets like allopurinol, febuxostat etc.
It is better to see a doctor who can prescribe you the appropriate medication based on your symptoms and blood uric acid levels.

1. Is he already on any uric acid lowering agents? Like allopurinol/febuxostat
2. Is he is having recurrent flares - ideally uric acid loweing drugs should be stopped and he must take colchicine/indomethacine for pain relief. 3. After acute flare is resolved, uric acid lowering agents can be restarted
gout is most commonly due to metabolic syndrome and dies need correction of metabolic abnormalities with medications
