I suffered from ear pain and blockage last week due to tonsillitis. I had amoxilin tablets and febrex plus tabs. It's been a week since the pain started, and although the pain isn't there, the ear is still blocked. I'm experiencing muffy and very less sound in that ear (right). I'm unable to hear any music or any words from someone sitting next to me in the right side. What should I do?

I have answered similar query many times. Simple cold goges in 4 to 6 days on its own. For nasal block, instill saline nasal drop in each nostrils 3 to 4 times in a day. It is safe. For further information you can consult privately.

You can instill nasal saline drops into nostril when nose get blocked. Usually cold is viral infection and its last 5 to 7 days only. So only use nasal saline drops which is safe in 10 weeks old child.

No, Put otorex ear drops in the ear which has wax three drops three times a day for 10 days. The wax should become soft & then it can be syringed out.

Both drugs are same in its content and the concept of mld or string is not correct. The dose of he drug is based on the weight of the baby and self medication need to be avoided

My daughter starts suffering from running nose and cough and mild fever from 21/08/218. She is 7 months old and 7.8 Kg in weight. The consulting doctor prescribed the following medicines Levolin 1 mg [ Levosalbutamol Syrup 1 mg] - 1.5 ml per day Indominic-P Syrup [Phenylephrine Hydrochloride & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup] - 1.5 ml per day Babygesic Paracetamol Drops [Acetaminophen Oral Suspension IP] - .8 ml in 6 hours interval But yesterday her temperature increases and we just move with her to another paediatric clinic. The temperature reported was 101.4. She was suddenly treated with “Suppositories”. After a while temperature normalize. Along with all the medicine, the doctor prescribed Azithromycin Oral Suspension IP 20 mg/ml [Azithral Liquid 100] 4 ml daily in 4 days from today onwards. Now I understand that Azithral Liquid 100 is an antibiotic used against bacterial infections. So I have a doubt. Is it safe to use Azithral Liquid 100 without without doing any blood or urine check up? She has still mild temperature. Please advice me.

Use of antibiotics is not recommended especially in case of children,,this is very much curable by proper homoeopathic treatment,,which is safe and without any complications

Chlorpheniramine may cause sedation. There are better medications with lesser side effects for that.

Your baby may have infection and need antibiotics and wikoryl is only cold medication . He may need MOX CLAV drop or syrup based on his weight and age
