Asked for female, 31 years old from Mangalore
Dear,
It is common to have a fungal infection in the summer season.
It is due to the moisture, skin fold, and heat which triggers this.
More than just irritation on the skin, you will have itching sensation, red marks (mostly rounded) and also skin scaling around the infected site.
To treat this, only a Ketoconazole soap wouldn't be effective.
You need to initiate antifungals and some other medications too.
With the right medications, you should be well by the end of 7 days.
Hope this helps!
