Dandruff is basically a fungal infection. Usually we prescribe ketoconazole shampoo twice a week. Some times patient may require oral fluconazole also. Contact period of anti fungal shampoo with hair should at least be 5 minutes. Good luck.

Hi hair fall is due to hormone problem and due to infection in the skull. Clean your hair and head regularly and apply antifungal shampoo ketoconazole twice a week for 5 minutes and do not apply oil. Take steam once in a week.

For hair we should not use shampoo daily two to three times a week is good use ketoconazole shampoo.
