Asked for female, 61 years old from Chandigarh

I am a 59 years old lady. I suffer from vulvitis very frequently. About 5 months back I suffered very serious infection having blisters on vulva and around anus which was cured by taking by acivir 400 for seven days. Now my vagina and vulva skin has become very sensitive and dry I feel itching every time and it is very irritating and I feel so much pain during intercourse and after that also. Pl. Suggest me some vaginal creme for curing my skin can I use evalon creme. Even a small itching cause wounds on vulva lips. Pl. Help me. Can I repeat acivir 400? Pl guide me.

I'm 24 years old female and married in last year. Till now vaginal penetration has not occurred as I have extreme pain and soreness. We would simply stop once it becomes painful and won't do it for some days .bt again this repeats and now we both are frustrated and have completely lost the interest. I consulted Dr. and after examination suggested xylocaine gel and evalon cream. She said that it's due to my fear that there are muscular contractions which cause pain. We have tried fingering and single finger is painless but two fingers cause soreness. I would like to know if i'm having vaginismus and is it common. Is the pain i'm experiencing common for all women or is it painful in my case only?

My wife is 53 years old. She has red patches on labia minora from 2 and half year. She feel etching some time and no other problem. No gynae problem. On consulting with dermatologist they started cap zincolak, cute, tacroz 0.03 and t- bact ointment and after they advised biopsy. As per biopsy report: muculenious junction shows chronic infection. No evidence of malignancy is seen (dt. 30.07. 2014) they continue t-bact, evalon, but no relief. They doubt erythropalsea and advised again for biopsy. On consulting with another dermatologist (head of skin deptt) and principal of sms, hospital jaipur they says not need for going for biopsy again and started: nedsoft-e, evata, nutoz-zc and ketoz-200 which she is taking from 1 and half month. There is no relief. What we should do? she is diabetic and hypothyroidic but both are in control.

If it is not getting relieved by candid gel, most likely it is due hormone oestrogen deficiency because you it’s already 9 years since you got hysterectomy done. I think local application of some oestrogen cream like evalon cream will help you

No. It may be allergic to you. Better not to use it. There are onitments containing estradiol which will protect the vaginal mucosa functionally. Commonly used one is evalon cream.

Yes, it's post menopausal syndrome consult your gynaecologist to overcome it. And about frequent urination, may be due to vaginal n urethral dryness. Apply evalon vaginal cream. Also do USG and urine test. Best is consult your urologist.

I think you should better consult with a gynaecologist for the expert advice. Oint evalon, twice daily at perineal area is often helpful. Pelvic floor exercises (you can find that in you tube) is also helpful. But detailed examination of your genital system is necessary for diagnosis.
