applying sunscreens for long terms is not advisable, it bocks ultraviolet rays and also close down your skin pores, using it at night is futile either way.

As soon as you stop using it, slowly your pigmentation problem will be back. You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh, not from readymade gels available in market) on your face.
