Thank you for contacting us. One of the back pain medicine you have mentioned is a pain killer with muscle relaxant, the other is a neuropathic pain medicine. Pain killer medicines preferably are to be used for a short duration only as they can have numerous side effects like gastritis, acidity etc. Some additional tests may be required to be done to diagnose the exact cause of your back pain. You may contact for a further detailed discussion.

Hi yogesh
Cervical spondylitis is common at your age. By changing medications might not help you much. Ultracet will cause nausea, giddiness too.
You need more physio and safe medications.
Hope he did MRI scan, to see weather anything can be done surgically. Otherwise injections to neck will be much helpful.

Hi there,
I will say that it is not wise decision to stop medicine without doctor consultation. Well gout is disease which takes time to cure and it has on and off period of pain. Hi. Whenever you have a fall or injury resulting in pain and swelling, first 2 days do cold pack, no hot water bag. When the swelling reduces than you can go for hot bag.
Secondly you want to do Gym. If the pain is negligible and there is no stress on ankle than you can start with cycle and crosstrainer for cardio and upper body weight training and seated leg exercises like Leg extension and leg curl.
Avoid squats with weight, calf raise etc for 1-2 week. After that you can start wit...more

• Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area
• Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).
• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hi,
your father needs to be examined by a orthopaedic surgeon.
Based on the history ,there are two possibilities.
1.pain aggrevating due to stress on the aging back bones and discs.
2. Osteoporosis. Weak bone in the back. Sometimes causing compression due stress and resulting in pain.
I would suggest you to first get an x-ray of dorso lumbar spine (ap and lateral views) and proceed.
Regards.
