I am chewing tobacco for last 20 years. However never faced any major issue. But, for last 4 years I am facing anxiety which is not very mild but I was prescribed with etilaam pro 20 then which I continued on and off. Currently I am using this medicine on and off and it makes me feel better. Sometimes I feel headaches which goes and comes and sometimes it lives whole day. My heartbeat increases while climbing stairs and while walking fast. Feeling irritated, I never feel fresh when I get up in morning even after 8 to 9 hrs of sleep. Anxiousness, anger and irregular and insufficient bowel movements I am facing. I am prescribed with (1) Dr. Reckeweg crataegus oxy q (2) tabqcum 200 ch I am using these medicines since 12 may 2020. However I am not feeling any kind of relief from my above mentioned symptoms. My questions are - (1) how long these homeopathic medicines take to show some effect and (2) are these medicines alone are adequate? Or need to include some other medicines too?

All the problems that you have mentioned are the side effects of the medicine etilaam pro. Irritability, headache, upset bowel all are the after effects of this. Talk to your doctor who has prescribed you this medicine. Don't stop it suddenly. Or ask him to reduce its dose. You need to understand that, these medicines are not good in the long run. I would suggest you to take counseling too along with the medicine. It will really help you out from your anxiety.

Dear lybrate-user,
meditation works excellent to treat with depression & anxiety but mind you it is a very long process. It is a very deep connect of body mind & soul. I suggest please continue the practice without fail. the experience you had is quite enviable because meditation can make you feel like it. In case you are uncomfortable, please do only guided meditation. You can try the headspace app
along with that kindly add the below things in your daily routine, a good vigorous exerci...more

Hello-
Stress can worry men about personal issues, while anxiety can overexcite the nerves in the body. When combined, men can worry that they’ll be inadequate at sex. Compounded by other feelings such as guilt, depression or even boredom, these anxious reactions can result in psychological impotence, the inability to achieve or maintain an erection due to psychological or physiological causes.

The majority of men experience impotence caused by stress or anxiety at least once in the...more
