Reduce by half every two weeks and stop. If you have relapse of anxiety consult a psychiatrist and take proper long term medications. Since you are a mbbs doctor learn about biological reasons for anxiety and address the same properly. Good luck.

Hello, etizolam is a drug to reduce anxiety symptoms. You haven't mentioned about the reason for prescribing.
It is safe to continue for 6 months discuss with your doctor while tapering the doses because it should be discontinued abruptly.
