Hi doctor, my age is 35, I have 5 years old kid, now we plan for second kid, and I visited to dentist 7 days back for clip fitting. Due to corona pandemic dentist gave me betadine solution (i.e. betadine standardised microbicidal solution 10%, povidone - iodine solution ip 10% w/v) for kept it in mouth for 2 minutes and after 2 minutes threw it out from mouth than dentist fitted the clip and after clip fitting I sat for 10 minutes with cotton in my mouth and spit which comes that I swallow, so my question is this is there chance that betadine solution go in my body? Or is it harmful for conceiving baby? Please advice. Thanks.

Hi, betadine goes into stomach and intestines.
Your ovulation from ovary happens in pelvic cavity and it goes inside uterus. Intestines abd uterus are not connected.
It will not affect. But this is a very good question. All the best.

I am 37 year old male and have been facing seborrheic dermatitis issue from past many years. I am using protar k shampoo and also apply tacrolimus solution 0.1 w/v. My nose, beard, ears, and forehead are also affected due to dermatitis. I also have severe hair fall due to this as I have to scratch my scalp while shampooing in order to get this white sticky stuff out of my hair. I have also had isotretinoin 10 mg at multiple occasions to control sebum production but no relief. I have almost used all shampoos (coal tar, ketoconazole) and solutions in market but I am not getting any relief from it. The sticky white discharge does not go away. My scalp is also itchy all the time.

I am having fungal infection near penile area between thighs .I have taken Terbest 250 mg (Terbinafine) along with Ebernet-M cream (Eberconazole and mometasone furoate) for 2 months and after that Candiforce 100 mg (Itraconazole) along with Livafinn Cream (Amorolfine) for 2 months and used Candid soap but still the fungal infection has not gone. Treatment for Fungal Infection:-Stop all other applications. Cap. Itraconazole (Itrasys/ Canditral) 100 mg twice daily for 2 weeks. Sertacide Cream for application once daily for 1 month. Sebifin cream once daily for 1 month Tab. Fexova 180 mg (if required in case of itching) The treatment has to be complete otherwise the condition will recur. Blood Test- Blood Sugar Fasting & PP. Serum Insulin Fasting and PP.

I was diagnosed telogen effluvium by a  dermatologist on 21 september 2016. My hairloss started around 20 august 2016. I shedded for 7-10 days  and then it stopped on its own. I was going through a rough time in my life so I realised it after a week that my hair is falling in excess amount. I went to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as TE. I was highly depressed about my hairloss at the time I went to the doctor. She gave me tugain 2% to use for 21 days. Tugain has 2% minodoxil w/v and 63% absolute alcohol v/v. The doctor did not tell me how to use it. I read the prescription which stated not to use more than one ml in single application. Since my hairloss was diffuse I wondered how to use just one ml on the entire scalp. This was my biggest mistake. I used the medicine for 7-8 days and within 7-8 days I finished two bottles each of 60 ml. I feel so dumb. I used it in huge amounts. I stopped using it after 7-8 days since it was causing dandruff flakes on my scalp. 12 days after stopping tugain I started to shed gain in huge amounts for 4-5 days. Within 4-5 days I lost about 15% of my hair density. I called the doctor who prescribed me tugain, she said that hairloss is temporary and stop using tugain and then continue again after some while. I could not say her much because it was my mistake as I did not read the prescription. <br> The base contained absolute alcohol which I read on the internet is a harmful agent. I am so scared right now. Have I killed my hairfollicles by using it excessively? It has been more than a month since I used the medicine and hairloss occurred, I am. Afraid my follicles were damaged hence my hair fell out and now they are destroyed by now.

I am 19 years of age. Earlier before I had an infection in my penis area that time I have consulted a doctor he prescribed clotrimazole cream. I use it for 20 days but infection remains the same. Then I again consulted the same doctor he prescribed onabet cream and one terbinafine 250 mg tablet a day. I take it for 2 months. It was quite ok. Now again the infection started and consulted the doctor and he has given onabet cream. But if I stop using cream again the infection is visible. Can you tell me the permanent solution of this infection. I don't have sex with anyone.
