The condition does affect daily life, but you can learn to manage it.
Misophonia clinics offer sound therapy combined with psychological counseling. The doctor sets up background noises to counteract your trigger sound.
You might try a device like a hearing aid that creates a sound in your ear similar to a waterfall. The noise distracts you from triggers and reduces reactions. Other treatments include talk therapy and antidepressants.

Escitalopram is not addictive.
Yoga, meditation and cognitive behavioural therapy are the other ways to treat anxiety and depression. Its upto you whether you can do all these on regular basis or not. Otherwise, there is no short cut, unfortunately. BW.

Hi, as far as your question is concerned there is no contraindication to take these two medicines together. You can take ashwagandha with a escitalopram. However it is not advisable to mix medicines from two different pathies therefore you either choose one of allopathic or ayurvedic. The treatment is available in both pathies.

Sure. You can consult any psychiatrist online or in person and get it prescribed. Escitalopram is a safe ssri. You most probable have naturally reduced serotonin, so while stopping the symptoms have relapsed. Good luck.
