Ideally all acid lower drugs not recommended for a long period.
The duration of these drugs depends upon cause of symptoms. Please send me your reports to decide. But definite long term use has tendency to cause b12 defeciency.

Hi lybrate-user if it relieves with sompraz tablet, it's more of acidity pain. So need to worry about back pain. Need to take precautions for acidity. Decrease the spicy food. As long as it's lot going down the legs, take it easy. If persistent pain, need to see Gastroenterology for pain.
