Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

High Bp in pregnancy is equally bad and risky for mother & fetus and it requires control there are some anti-hypertensives that can be safely given in pregnancy as per recommendation, it will be best to consult a cardiologist & your gynaecologist as a team and follow their advice instead of googling & un-necessary reading, because if BP will not be controlled then also baby will experience side-effects.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details. Before deciding on changing the drugs, adding another or increasing the dosage there's a need to look at your diet and extent of exercises, because alterations in that can help in better control of blood glucose. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user. You need to evaluate why your legs are swelling before you can change or add any medication.
Do not take any new medicines without doctors recommendations.
Regards.
