renal artery stenosis is a rare disease mostly of old people. Rarely in young women. Unless you have been diagnosed as renal artery stenosis dont have to worry about it.

If she is more than 60 years age it is ok.
if younger increase to 40mg telmisartan.
age is important.how is her sleep appetite and excercise.
do insist for salt restriction and walking for 30 minutes min more better.
how about her wt. if overwait then reducing weight can help.

Take salt restricted diet. Fried salt restriction should be 1800 mg-2750 mg per day. Do not take added salt because most of your vegetables contain sodium already in it. Avoid mustard oil completely. Take sunflower or rice bran oil daily. Avoid red meat and big fishes completely.
