I am taking eptoin 400 mg per day with folic acid. Some time when I take vitamin tab with this dose my pee turns into green. During this when I drink huge amount of water it become white. So what is the reason of green pee?

Green colour of urine could be due to high dose of b complex including folic acid. Don't worry about it. Avoid taking high dose of b complex tablets with folic acid.

Since last 13 years you are seizure free. So you do MRI brain and EEG. And If the reports are normal, then your anti seizure drugs should be tapered slowly and stopped.

If you have no symptoms from neurocysticercosis , you can stop it with the advice of the doctor who started it for you

It is quite possible on the medication you are taking. For acne go with salicylic face washes and try using retinols and vitamin c serum on daily basis.

I am 45 years old woman. I have epilepsy since last 17 18 years. And I have done the course of eptoin 2 times. But before 11 years my case has gone worsen. Means again fits. And from then I am taking eption 100 mg thrice a day. Then eptoin thrice a day is not suited to me. Phenytoin level had increased in my blood. So I have to take two times a day. From then I am ok. But yesterday my bp goes low suddenly. I was fainted and fell down. And I feel all symptoms of low bp. I request that can we replace eptoin 100 mg by levesam 500 mg. If yes then then how many times a day. Please answer me.

Hello,
tab phenytoin is a safe drug and in use for many years, if it is controlling your seizures and you have not had any side effects there is no need to change the medication. Extended phenytoin sodium tab can be taken once a day also. The symptoms you had are not related to use of phenytoin.
