The dosage given here are only guidelines and you have to go by the advice of your treating doctor. Levetiracetam dose is Initiate treatment with a daily dose of 1000 mg/day, given as twice-daily dosing (500 mg twice daily). Additional dosing increments may be given (1000 mg/day additional every 2 weeks) to a maximum recommended daily dose of 3000 mg. There is no evidence that doses greater than 3000 mg/day confer additional benefit.

Dear friend,
It will not affect you much if you have mistimed your medicine once. But please remember you should at least take that at some part of the day, so that a blood level of the drug is maintained. Please make sure you take your medicine at scheduled time henceforth. Don’t know how long your medicine was exposed to air. If it’s long better to discard that. Wish you a very good health!
