Composition of both tablet are same. You were taking 500 mg previously and now you are given 750 mg.

ideally it is to be started 500 mg twice a day and if required it can be increased to 1gm twice a day... max dose is 3 gm per day but usually not required

Since both Epilive and alcohol act on the same brain and nerve cells, it is better not to combine both. It will lead to more side effects. However you can take Epilive after your dinner.
