Hi. This drug is generally safe but in few it may cause redness and dryness which is not tolerated by few. In such instances better stop and consult your dermatologist. Some amount of redness and mild dryness is common in early days of treatment. You can reduce the duration of application to counter this. Take care.

Yes the burning is normal, but you should take a gap for a few day, let the irritation lessen then use less often and less duration, best to see your dermat again, he/she will be the best guide.

As per your personal information, your age not for acne it may be some thing else or adult onset acne which is hormonal.
A photograph of affected part needed for properper assessment and treatment plan accordingly.

It will work. Be patient. Initially when on treatment acne will be increased a bit .later it will clear of completely in due course. Minimum it takes three months atleast depending on severity. Do follow d regime strictly as prescribed by your dermatologist.
