U have not mentioned since when are u having this problem not the exact location of pain. What r other symptoms that you r experiencing?
By doing what like walking, exertion, eating or empty stomach- it increases or decreases in intensity. For how much time the pain remains?
Is there stiffness also?
How is your appetite?
R you constipated?
Any problem in urine?

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. With h/o acute pancreatis there is no insulin secretion. Hence no oral medication can work. Because the oral drugs act either by stimulating beta cell to secrete insulin (by different methods) or by reducing insulin resistance. But because there is no insulin secretion at all so those drugs can not act. Hence, insulin injections is the only option. That to multiple doses may be required (long acting & rapid acting).
