gibtulio 25 mg tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Its not the drug but the diabetes which can cause ed. Erectile dysfunction is a common complication of diabetes. Left untreated, it can erode the quality of life for you and your sexual partner. Hi lybrate-user
it is better to consult an endocrinologist as you have difficult to control diabetes. I guess insulin resistance will be a problem given the issues with weight you're having. Glp 1 agonists with metformin and a gliptin will be a good option for you. Glp 1 agonist is available as a weekly injection but it is expensive (eg semaglutide ). Anyways I would advise to discuss with an endocrinology Dr. and make sure that there are no hormonal causes for your obesity like cushings syn...more

JARDIANCE can be taken along with many common type 2 diabetes medications, such as metformin, sulfonylurea, pioglitazone, and insulin. But, if you take JARDIANCE with another medicine that can cause low blood sugar, such as sulfonylurea or insulin, your risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is higher.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have seen the query. However, there is no mention of how the glucose levels are controlled. It is essential to know fasting & pp levels as well as hba1c% before any comment can be made or any suggestion is given. As regards dapagliflozin and vildagliptin+ metformin combination usage, both these (dapagliflozin & vildagliptin) are totally different drugs. One can not be substituted for the other. Mode actions are totally different. Thanks.
