Dear lybrate-user,
its great that you tried seeking help by consulting a psychiatrist. However, it is equally important to seek psychotherapy (either online or in person) from a licensed clinical psychologist to battle depression and anxiety. It's proven that psychotherapy along with medicines provide best results. Get evaluated by clinical psychologist and get help from them to change your life style.
All the best

Hi lybrate-user,
pharamcology (medicines) by themselves may not be sufficient for ocd and anxiety issues. Consider seeking cognitive behavior therapy from a clinical psychologist which would work directly on your behaviors and thoughts while the medicines work on your anxiety. Cbt is very efficacious for ocd and you will see good results.
