I am 28 year old professionally a software engineer I feel that I procrastinate things ,become confuse with spellings while writing. Finds difficulty in continuously speaking and prompt answering. Rate of thought generations seems slow to me as I compared myself with few other people. My attentions wanders from recent tasks and so I take more time for doing things. The discomforting feeling (heaviness or anxious feeling in heart - not a gross pain but subtle feeling) which one gets on or few days before college exam! I get the same feeling almost every morning but without a cause like (exam tension, or work problem etc) At times it becomes incapacitating that I tend to walk slow as a defense mechanism to prevent increase in heaviness. It increases and reduces in intensity automatically, usually most at wake up, and in evening but may increase at any time of the day. To reiterate, it is not anxiety per se which is causing the discomfort. It is also not the typical early morning waking pathognomonic of depression. Sleep is normal. This difficulty has been there since the end of 2013 but the incapacitating factor prompted me to ask for treatment. Please suggest how to solve this problem. Thanks in anticipation.
