I am 39 years old. I had rheumatoid arthritis 2 years ago. With prompt medication and proper exercises it subsided. But I have put on weight rapidly with b12, injections in just 2 months. I have put on 12 kgs in 2 months. And am not able to shed off that exrra weight. My periods are regular. I am putting on lot of weight. If I exercise I dont gain weight but at the same time am not losing weight. I have also noticed I am getting acne now at this age. What should I do?

I dont think that with vit. B12 injection, your weight is increased and that too at so alarming levels. I think your body is swelling due to water retention. Are you feeling any swelling in yr body. If yes then please go through following blood tests cbc, esr, crp, rft, ra factor, urine routine

Health Query

I am experiencing some light to moderate pain in my testicles from past one week. I don't know the reason why am I experiencing this. The pain continuous till the lower right abdomen. Sometimes pain goes away. Some times it's pains a little. Some times it's irritating for me. I don't know what to do. I have searched internet about this and many websites say some thing and it goes of by using antibiotics. Please give a prompt response. I am pretty much worried about it.

Dear Experts, I have a relative who has suffered MDR extra pulmonary TB lymphadenitis. Currently, she is cured of the same after undergoing months of medications and treatments. I am worried and would like your suggestions as to: 1. If there is possibility that her immunity is substantially reduced because of which ‎she should not work and mandatory stay home and not engage herself in jobs or any occupation which might risk her health and life because of her MDR TB history? Doctor thanks for your prompt response I am diabetic for the last 20 year's earlier it was under control, all of a sudden I taught of doing my hba1c test. My fasting level is 280 _ post lunch after 2 hours is 325 I take human actrapid I had a episode of blood clot had pulmonary embolism 10 years ago in blood thinners since then. Many health issues I have do advice some remedy so that my hba1c comes under control.

Actrapid alone once daily is not the right Insulin for your condition. Actrapid acts for only 8 hours and instead of Actraid, Mixtard 50/50 twice daily is more suited for you. Go to a nearby general physician and he would start you on Mixtard 50/50. Start with 28U 30 min before breakfast and 24U 30 min before dinner.
