Kindly do modified superman exercises(2 sets 5 counts) each regularly for a week. Dont overtake alcohol. Be in your limitations.

However your doctor seems to be trying few medicines to make him peaceful and sleep better. Be patient and wait for the drugs to work.
Since he is already dementing, he does not need much sleep. As age advances, one needs less time for sleep.
A bright light like day time and warmth will help sometimes - worth trying.
