Hello, Vomikind contains ondansetron which according to few studies may increase the risk of cleft palate in pregnancy, however this drug is often used in pregnancy but it should not be used as first line drug for nausea and vomiting more so in first 12 weeks.
The first line drug should be a combination of doxylamine and pyridoxine.

Emeset syrup should be given before food in recommended dose and the age of the child need to be told . Ideally should not be given for children less than one year and for possetting which people think as vomiting
