The chances of conception with one ovulatory cycle is around 6 percent. You can also get your tubes tested snd also try assisted reproductive techniques like IUI.

I am 27 years old I am suffering with pcod .now I want to conceive my doctor suggested me to take hmg 150 injections from 5th day alternative till 11th day and also letrozole tablets and I am using clofert 25 mg tablets from 3rd day in addition to these medications. Is it safe to use all the medicines at a time? Does this medicines did not do any harmful for conceiving.

You can take a combination of letroze and hmg or clomid and hmg as required with close follicular monitoring. These may cause multiple pregnancy

Hi i am 23 I have Pcos and last in 2014 December I conceived via hmg amd hcg shots but later during 7th month lost my pregnancy due to IUGR. Also I am having thyroid (normal now) Again I am trying to conceive. My doctor gave me clomifene citrate from day 3 to 7. Hmg injections on day 3 and 5. On day 11 I was having a 16mm follicle in right ovary and 19mm ovulated follicle in left. (Ovulation occurred from left ovary without hcg) I want to know if 16mm follicle will rupture at the same time or within 24hrs of each other? My doctor said there are chances of 16mm follicle to rupture till next day. Is it possible?

Exactly it cannot be said that when it will rupture, it is possible that it may rupture the next day or on the same day. But in both the cases there are chances of pregnancy so you need not to worry for that. If you are going for iui then do it twice for consecutive days, or going for natural then then regular intercourse for 3-4 days.

Hi doctor. My query is- I am having pcos and thyroid. Last cycle I took clomifene citrate and hmg on cd-3 & 5. I ovulated on day 11. I was 17 days past ovulation and my af was due today. I was about to take home pregnancy test but noticed my af has started as per its right time. Why so? I took treatment and ovulated also but still no results for assisted pregnancy? I was hoping for pregnancy but this is heart breaking. I had a still birth 9months ago. For that also I took treatment they make me ovulate through hmg and then trigger hcg for rupture. And I conceived in first time. Taking same treatment this time but cycle failed why?

Single failed cycle can't be termed as failure of treatment. It's natures rule to pick up good ova and pregnancy. You should continue same treatment for 3-4 cycle before advancing to next plan of iui.

Hi. My age is 26. My hubby 31. Semen count 120 ml. All my reports are good. E2 level is 70. Amh is 1.0. Trying baby for 2 years. Last 7 month took tablet clomids only. This month doctor suggest siphene and injection hmg 75 unit on 7th and 9th day. Then iui. My question is before iui hsg fallopian tube test is must? Because all reports normal only. Or I can try with tablet and injection for 2 months without iui. Is hsg test painful or any side effect? And hmg injection is painful, side effects? How long can take injection.

Please note that your AMH is on the lower side, generally we recommend some tablets for improving the AMH and the do IUI. As you have already tried 7 months of tablets we recommend HSG test to see whether the tubes are open or not. We genreally give injections daily for atleast 5 days not for 1 or 2 days.

Hi doctor, I am planning for second pregnancy and have PCOD. I have monitored my follicle regularly and on 19th day after 4 cycles of hmg 75 and hmg 150 my follicle size was 20*17 mm. And on 21 St day of my period my Follicle was ruptured. I am given pregcert 400 mg tablet for insertion and it will be completed tomorrow. I feel bit giddy and badly constipated. We did have timely intercourse as doctor mentioned. I am very nervous. What would happen when I stop pregcert tablet. And when can I check for pregnancy. Please advice. I can send you my reports too.

Check your pregnancy status after two weeks of ovulation and than follow up with reports and pregcert medication to be taken as per prescription.

Hello, I am under fertility treatment which is naturally, neither iui nor ivf just under some medications. Last two cycles went for follicular study. Based on those two cycles outcome as egg not ruptured eventhou after hcg 10000 shot, post hcg shot I took susten sr 200 mg, finally I got my periods. So this same happened on last two cycles. Today its my 3rd day of cycle, so I consulted my gynecologist. She prescribed me siphene 100 mg for 5 days and also fsh 150 injection on 5th day, follicular study from day 8. So kindly give me suggestions whether it will be ok or not. Will fsh inj improve my egg growth, because I had slow follicle growth on 2 cycles. Other than this, I had no other issues. Also please tell me on hmg injection uses too, she told me that I need to take hmg inj too based upon day 8 follicular report. Please advice.

I am 24 years old. I married since 21 june 2013. I have secondary amenorrhoea since 2 years before my marriage. I try to conceive since 3 yrs. I went to several clinics for treatment. I diagnosed as pcos. I took glucofage 850 mg tid, folic acid and aspirin. Now my pc controlled. My weight was 90 kg and now 70 kg. I took many medication for ovulation and hyperstimulation as tab clomid and inj hmg but I didn't ovulate. Last period 27 April 2016 I took tab tamoxifen tid for 5 days from day 2. Then I took 150u inj hmg in day 8 and 150u in day 9. After that my follicle not reached needed size. Dr. increased dose and she gave me 150u inj hmg day 11 and 75U in day 12 than my follicle reached to max size and gave me inj hcg 10000u in day 14. After 2 day I get abdomen distended and pelvic pain. I went to doc. I get ohss mild then became moderate. I admitted in hospital for 2 days with oral fluid intake; inj ceftrixem and inj clean. I still under treatment. I have query? Can I get pregnancy this month?

Unless there is a exposure to a sperm load in the form of iui or sexual relation the chance of preg is nil. But having said that I fully agree that in ohss cases one should defer from getting pregnant.

I am 26 years old and I weigh 64 kgs and husband is 31 yrs, he weighs 73 kgs. Married for 2 years 4 months, have been ttc since 1.5 yrs. Started seeing doctor since 1 yr. All the tests seem to have normal results. At first I was given duphaston to regulate my periods (as I was having delayed periods, like 37-40 days cycle) then both were given medicine like mcbm-69 for me and fertisure for him. And were asked to ttc naturally for next six months. In October 2017 started with ovulation induction using firstly 100 mg for 5 days and hcg injection for follicle rupture. This continued for next 6cycles. Still no success.In Feb 2018 got fallopian tube test done, no blockage, some infection was seem, which the doctor scraped and sent for testing .It came out to be endometriosis polyp. I was given Femilon but I didn't suit me and I was bleeding beyond my usual period days. referred the doctor, given pause to stop the bleeding. Again ovulation induction for April cycle. Then in May 2018 got first iui but it was a failure took firstly 100 mg for 5 days and follicular scans and HCG injection .Now in june 2018 we have planned the second iui but this time I was asked to take Letroz 2.5 mg for 5 days and then a follicular scan ,asked to take GMH HP 150 injection for 3 days continuously from day 8 of cycle then follicular scan on day 11 again was given GMH HP 150 injection for 3more days. Today day 14 going for follicular scan. Does doing the above injections improve chances of me getting pregnant. I am very much worried that would I ever get pregnant, all my family and friends doesn't seem to have any trouble getting pregnant and all are bless with beautiful babies. All this is causing me getting depressed. Please help with ad.

Please don't feel depressed. You are only 26 yrs, you can conceive. But need to do some lifestyle modification and correct hormonal issues. Only then plan for pregnancy.
