First evaluation is done by psychiatrist and physician, if your condition deems ECT (a very good option) it can be given provided you also have normal cardiac and medical status. ECT is given 3 days a week for 5 to 7 times. So approximately you will require 14 to 17 days stay. Cost will work out depending on the room you select for the hospital.
