No short cut for recovery. Age is 4 mths (confused with 4.10) many times frequent stool is normal for this age. But if doctor has advised you medicine, continue and review with him if child is not accepting feeds or urine output is decreased.

For a specific diagnosis of lactose intolerance or cow milk protein allergy (in which breast feeding is discontinued. Certain investigations are required. Green coloured stools is normal. Blood in stool may be caused due to several causes including the above mentioned causes or infection, rectal polyp, rectal ulcer, improper formula dilution etc. But, stopping breastfeeding without a confirmation may not be advisable. Now add salad big bowl before lunch and dinner. Add buttermilk curd in lunch. Cap vizylac a probiotic one at night for two weeks.

I want to know little bit more. How many days now the diarrhea has been persisted. Antibiotic (taxim o) is not preferred in acute diarrhea. Main aim is to prevent dehydration.

I want to also inform you that diarrhea takes 4-5 days sometimes 7 days to completely stop. I can understand your concer but we need to maintain hydration of baby by providing adequate liquids in form of coconut wa...more

Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet and Apart from taking symptomatic treatment and deworming Medication I will suggest you to take injection vitcofol 2cc intramuscularly every fourth days for five pricks over the buttocks through a health professional
