The defective package does not mean the drug is ineffective and hence you need not repeat taking it.

Another test of microbial culture and drug susceptibility that takes 4-12 weeks.
Both are available in State Govt TB centres free of cost.

The TB medication is for 9 months and pyrazinamide will cause nausea and vomiting and you can change if your doctor decides it

Normal tuberculosis (i. E not drug resistant) can be treated along with presence of pregnancy. Not to worry if one has been given rifampicin, isoniazid, ethambutol and pyrazinamide for treatment of tb along with pregnancy.
