Dear lybrate-user,
if you have taken the emergency contraceptive within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, it should work to prevent a pregnancy. Sometimes, for some patients, in spite of that, there may be a pregnancy, but chance of that happening is rare. So in case you miss the period, do a pregnancy test to confirm.

If it's already 4-5 days, stop them or you won't get periods. Also 4 tablets should have been taken at first. Now just wait for your periods.

You will get your periods normally but it is important to know when you should be taking ipill. Meaning the day of menstrual cycle when it is required or it is unnecessary. There are safe and unsafe days in a cycle for conception and you should be aware of it to avoid such situations in future. You may contact me for details if you are interested.
