Recommend visiting nearest patanjali chikitsalay as they will give brain tonics or other medicines that will not cause side effects. please visit at the earliest to reduce your personal distress. Any attempts to make her understand will be useless. Pray to let her live with dignity and try to give as much physical love as possible- hopefully this language she may still understand

I can understand the OCD symptoms being severe in intensity along with anxiety and depression. But whatever be the severity OCD symptoms can definitely be brought under control. What is the dose of fludac and sizodon. Admenta doesn't act on OCD symptoms. I am surprised why another OCD reducing ,medication has not been added. Dear Manjeet,
It is really pathetic to see your father suffering like this.
However your doctor seems to be trying few medicines to make him peaceful and sleep better. Be patient and wait for the drugs to work.
Since he is already dementing, he does not need much sleep. As age advances, one needs less time for sleep.
A bright light like day time and warmth will help sometimes - worth trying.

Hi, ocd is frequently difficult to treat. It frequently requires augmentation and use of high doses. Behaviour therapy is a good mode of treatment to be used alongside medicines. Fluvoxamine could be augmented with memantine or low dose risperidone or clomipramine if the body tolerates. Take care. Consult privately for more help.
