Madam, In my USG report fluid level is adequate and mild polyhudrous, that why doctor has suggested me do not use sugar and also for sugar test and CBC test. Polyhydramniosis may be increase due to gestational diabetes that why doctor advice you to avoid sugar content. So avoid sugar taking that time.

Health Query

My wife age is 25, she suffered with pph after a normal delivery. Its our first baby. Is there any chance that- It might happen again in our next chance. It was one month ago & She was about to die. I wants to know- what precautions- we should take further. I have heard about test tube baby, Is this method success-full, As i am afraid for taking chance of another baby.

When she can conceive normally then why you are thinking test tube baby? it's good that you care for her so much but remember that is a complication that can occur during delivery but it's not necessary next time also she will face this kind of problem.

My wife delivered our first child at the age of 35 in a gynic hospital. She had pph- dic after delivery. She was given carboprost, 2 units of blood, and 2 units of ff plasma (i do not know the volume in ml.). I faintly recall the doctor saying she had to compress the uterus. Maybe in 3 hours the bleeding stopped. The next day in the laboratory the clotting test gave normal results. My queries: 1) can dic occur during delivery without uterine atony? 2) my wife is 15-20 days pregnant now at the age of 42-43. Should we abort on the grounds of fear of pph-dic only, (not considering other things like down syndrome). Our gynaec says that pph may not necessarily occur. But if at all it occurs: can active management of the third stage of labour (or by any other method) her life be saved? what is the probability of risk? what will happen to an individual cannot be predicted but in what percentage the odds are, I would like to know. Whether we should take the risk? her hemoglobin is around 9-10.

The chances of a third stage complication like PPH ocurring in the next pregnancy is about 12 %. So it is not absolute. History of PPH is not a reason to have abortion this time around unless there is some other reason for it.
Your wife needs to start taking iron supplements so as to raise her Hb levels to at least 11.5%.

Morning it showing correct but when I check in the evening bp goes high. Medicine name is 1. Telmisartan 40 mg 2. Torsemide & spironolactone 5 mg once in a day. Is it required to change the medicine or should continue with this only.

I am 81 years recently (1.5 months) ago started on Telmisartan 40 HCTZ 12.5 MG and metoprolol 12.5 mg OD. I was previously on Amlodipine 2.5 mg, Torsemide 5 mg and Metoprolol 25 mg. My recent blood tests reveal elevated BUN (26 mg), elevated blood urea 56 mg and elevated serum creatinine 1.3 . Is this a cause for concern? Should the medications be changed?

My father is having hernia problem ,his heart is pumping only 30% ,silodosin 8 mg capsule is continuously consuming by him also his heart doctor started dytor plus 10 mg now he is feeling weakness ,doziness and also suffered from diarrhea and lightheadedness, cardiologist suggest us to meet neurologist ,now neurologist stop silodosin capsule with urimax 0.04 mg but still my father is feeling lightheadedness shall we stop dytor plus 10 mg as suggested by cardiologist.
