Hi lybrate-user
Congrats on the new baby, and your enthusiasm to be fit.
Your body takes 6 weeks after delivery to get back to its pre pregnancy state.

If you are breast feeding the baby, my suggestion would be to avoid very rigorous workouts, as it can interfere with the milk production, and quality. Eat well, and do lots of cardio till you are breast feedi...more

After you miss the periods then you can check after 1 week. First get tested with home kit test and for confirmation go for urine for HCG test. Early signs of pregnancy will be reeling, weakness, nausea etc.

If it's very early in your pregnancy, your body might not have produced enough hCG yet. In that case, you'd get a negative result at first. Also, some tests are more sensitive than others, and no test is 100 percent accurate. And a few women have such low levels of hCG during pregnancy that home tests can't measure it.

Possibility- yes. Certainity- no
any couple desirous of pregnancy and not getting the same naturally must meet a gynecologist or infertility specialist accepting the fact that it needs many reports and different trials of treatment. This means the couple must have patience and go to one with whom they have trust to stick for a long time.

Pre menstrual retention of water is common in women, but it shows in breast because of delicate tissue within. Are you over due? if test is negative, repeat it after a week but do not take any medicine to start the cycle, if you want a healthy baby.

Hello,
Do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If the result is positive then consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation and management.
If the result is negative there is nothing to worry about and wait for your periods to come.
