Can we take maxvoid plus 8 mg and silodal 8 together? Are they same or different.

No, do not take the two medicineds together. They both contain the same medicine silodosin. However maxvoid plus also contains another drug dutasteride.

I am 70 years old. Taking prolomet 50 /5 0 0 1, rosuvas 5 mg 0 0 1 & dutas t 0 0 1 now. Though libido is in good measure, ed makes me very much disturbed. Tazzle 10 does not help much. As there is no proper erection, even masturbation does not help and no ejaculation. Please advise a very effective treatment without side effects to enjoy sex life. Thank you.

Dutas which has been started for treatment of enlarged prostate may be the cause of erectile dysfunction, kindly get some investigations, get a penile doppler ultrasound to check the blood supply, get a hormone analysis done, i.e. Serum testosterone, fsh, lh
get back to me with these reports, I will prescribe you medications accordingly.

I am 65 years old male, due to prostate enlargement, as per Dr. advice I am having tamdura cap. Since for 1 year, after then I am facing ed (erection dysfunction. I am cardiac (cabg done 12 years back) diabetic n thyroid patient. These are the reasons or tamdura cap, particularly I am facing the problem from using the capsules. Please let me know if there is any remedy for ed problem.

Tamdura is tamsulosin + dutasteride, dutasteride is a 5alpha reductase inhibitor which prevents activation of testosterone to dht, you can solve this problem by taking an alpha blocker which doesn't cause retrograde ejaculation such as alfuzocin 10 mg, for erection problem any tadalafil 5 mg formulation is safe, talk to your urologist about avoiding dutasteride.

I have elevated PSA 13.48 and my ultrasound shows enlarged prostate volume 31 cc grade I fatty liver prostatomegaly grade III prostatic calcification bladder thickness 3,2 MM non distended urine residual 73 cc and my urologist after prescribing ceftum dosage for one month is over has done DRE which showed PA soft NAD PR grI BPH Nodular? And then prescribed dutas T for three months follow up with PSA. I see from net that dutas T may cause prostate cancer. Kindly advise whether am I on right track of medication My age is 74 DR.

With high psa, tablets prescribed may give temporary relief for short time. It has no benefit for your case. Check for psa velocity. If it is more then have biopsy of prostate.

after consulting your Urologist not physician
He will do the digital rectal examination to assess the prostate, whether it is normal or not
repeat Serum PSA total and free after 3 weeks
show to your Urologist
Dutas T does not cause prostate cancer
Don't worry it is treatable/ curable.

Infection in prostate gland is very rare. Rapilif d is prescribed for benign prostatic hyperlasia. Bph. Is a common condition in old men. Rapilif d is a combination of 2 medicines. Silodosin and dutasteride. Of which dutasteride medication can cause sexual side effects sometimes including impotence. I would like to review your reports before prescribing anything.

Use dutas-t (dutasteride + tamsulosin) once daily. If symptoms persists even after 2 weeks, consult a urologist to rule out other causes and urinary infecion. Rule out diabetes and check kidney function also.

You should restart afdura again because it has dutasteride which causes prostate to shrink. If you will do ok on afdura you can continue it for long but even after starting afdura you have severe bothersome symptoms you need surgery. Size of prostate does not correlate with surgery.
